What are the main reasons for staying in a company?

According to a report carried out by the company Randstad, the main reasons for staying with a company are salary, work-life balance, job stability and a good working environment.

In this report, which was made to find out what factors are most valued by Spaniards when choosing a job, it is clear that the possibility of being able to combine personal life and work activity is a reason that is becoming increasingly important.

This report is prepared every year in 32 countries, and in Spain around 11,000 surveys are carried out on both students and people with different work situations, aged between 18 and 65, and of both sexes; and what is clear is that the main reason continues to be the salary, specifically 62% say that economic factors represent the most important reason for staying in a company, but 55% also include work-life balance as a key factor.

Other reasons are also noteworthy, such as the possibility of having opportunities to develop professionally, and also that there is recognition for the work done.

It should be noted that depending on the age groups, these preferences may vary, and the younger segment, between 18 and 25 years old, particularly values ​​the possibility of training and also the reputation of the company, its contribution to society, fun and inclusion. On the other hand, what professionals between 25 and 34 years old value most is a pleasant work environment.

People who work and are between 35 and 54 years old prioritize family and professional reconciliation; and the generation between 55 and 64 years old prioritizes above all that their job guarantees a high level of job security.
