To be considered teleworking, you must do so for at least 30% of the day.

Initially, the draft of this new Law, which also precisely works on the definition of the concept of telework, proposed considering it as such when a person worked 20% of their working time from home, an amount that more or less represents a working day, but the latest news indicates that the percentage has increased to 30%.

Since these are times of great uncertainty and the current situation is once again very complicated, both the government and the unions are working to finalize all the details of this new Telework Law, and approve it as quickly as possible.

It should be noted that now that the school year has started again, there is a high probability that parents and students will have to be confined to their homes for periods of between 10 and 14 days, and these parents will only be able to take leave from work if their child tests positive for Covid-19. If they are confined due to another positive case in the same class, they will not be able to take leave from work. This is why it is so important that this Law is agreed upon and implemented as quickly as possible.

30% of the day

For companies, it is necessary to look for tools that allow them to comply with all regulations and be able to efficiently manage the organization's human team. This is possible with systems such as timenet, which allows each person's working day to be recorded from any device with an internet connection, and also manage work and be able to assign specific projects to each person, so that they can continue working from home.
