It seems that the conditions of Telefónica and Vodafone workers are not what they were a few years ago, since salaries have decreased, and therefore young people find jobs in other places that are better paid, than those offered by these companies, which is why they are experiencing a lot of staff turnover, and for this reason they have implemented teleworking plans.

Telefónica offers its staff a working day of 4 days and 32 hours a week, with a salary reduction corresponding to five hours for all workers who decide to take advantage of this proposal, but taking into account that the company bonuses this reduction by 20%, or what is the same, pays for one hour of the five in which the working day is reduced.

In addition, this same company also offers its employees the possibility of teleworking two days a week, from wherever they want, and as long as they agree with their area manager; In order for them to do so, they are provided with a PC or laptop, corporate mobile phone, unlimited data and an ergonomic work chair.

On the other hand, Vodafone offers three days a week of teleworking, from anywhere, and 97.6% of women and 95.3% of men have joined; and another initiative to which 96% of workers have joined is to work in person during the morning and remotely in the afternoon.

Retaining talent
