Josep Maria Garcia, Head of Business Studies, and Coordinator of Training in Work Centers and Work-Study Training, explained how this activity was carried out, focused on seeing how to carry out time control in companies.
The first thing they did was form groups of 3 or 4 people including a “manager” and workers, with each member’s role clearly defined; the next step was to look for information on how the program works on the website: https://www.timenetapp.com/ and in the demonstrations section.
Then two new groups were created, one formed by managers and the other by the workforce, to exchange information and questions, so that the “management” group could then adapt the program’s functionalities according to specific needs, which are the following:
- They will have to register at 3 different work centers, when they take face-to-face classes, when they take them online and when they are doing internships in companies.
- They must enter the company's work calendar taking into account the school calendar.
- They must create the work calendar of each worker taking into account that each one has different practice hours.
- Employees must be Geolocated.
- They must create clients and projects, as if they were work centers.
- They must investigate the Reports that the application allows.
- The "workers" also request holidays, vacations, leaves, etc. so that the practice is more enriching, they are asked to make mistakes when signing in so that the person in charge can fix it.
- The workers must sign in for two weeks at the 3 work centers, and they must also monitor the entries and exits at the School, where it is seen if they are at home, at the School or at the company.
- They must deliver all the reports that the APP allows where it is seen that all the workers have signed in at the 3 work centers.
