Labor flexibility is here to stay

In this post we will review some of the conclusions drawn from the study carried out in Germany by Trendence, regarding this topic, which mainly highlights that although workers are happy to be able to return to work physically, they want to continue to have greater freedom when organizing their work hours.

It seems that 58% of workers want to return to working in the office, but at the same time, 48.3% want to have the possibility of teleworking when necessary, and they want to be able to do so without having to give much notice.

The greatest motivation for the workforce when returning to the office is social contact, since 43% of workers miss the exchange with other people at work, and 41.7% also miss teamwork.

The fact of having been teleworking for so long has made the schedules completely flexible, and when it comes to returning to the office, 42.6% of employees freely decide when to start working, 39.9% also decide when to end their day, and 36.2% even decide how many hours they will work per week.

From all this it is also clear that thanks to teleworking the use of tools focused on video calls has skyrocketed from 27.6% to 60%, as well as the use of instant messaging applications, which has also grown from 10% to 34.3%.

Flexibilitat laboral

And the role of time control systems, such as Timenet, is also noteworthy, which allow you to work from anywhere where there is a device with an internet connection, and also make tasks more flexible, since you can work by project, and see how you are progressing and who is doing what!
