In search of a better salary

According to a report carried out by the human resources company Hays, on labor trends for 2022, it appears that 77% of Spaniards surveyed would change jobs in search of a better salary, and 68% are already actively doing so.

According to this same guide, 71% of the companies surveyed plan to hire more workers in 2022, and 67% believe that their business will increase during this year, and they will probably need more staff, especially sales, IT and engineering profiles.

It seems that currently in the Spanish labor market there are many people who are considering quitting their current job, to look for another job that allows them to improve economically, but the current moment in which inflation is increasingly present, makes it very difficult to find a good economic proposal, which allows them to quit their current one.

There is also the factor of the accumulation of seniority, which allows the Spanish worker to receive 33 days per year worked, in the event of being unfairly dismissed, and this makes workers think long before quitting, since when you voluntarily leave a company you lose the right to this compensation.

But there is a sector, which is ICT, in which there is a very significant struggle to obtain talented professionals, and that is why these profiles are more willing to change, since it is easier for them to find good offers with better salaries.
