At first glance it may seem that setting your own hours can be very positive, but there are many people who have not yet gotten used to doing it, perhaps because outside of normal hours flexibility can sometimes be confused with an excessive workload.

All of this is a post-pandemic result, in which there is a clear trend towards teleworking or the hybrid model, and this implies this flexible working hours that we are talking about in this post.

But the other side of these models is that routine is no longer as we knew it, and working from home there is no contact with colleagues, and this is because you may be more productive, but you are also more isolated.

Some people consider it necessary to establish schedules and routines in which the body (and mind) get used to producing and being efficient, to enter the daily dynamic more easily.

There are also other opinions focused on the fact that the option of being able to configure working hours flexibly can be psychologically advantageous, and allows for better reconciliation with some aspects of the personal life of workers, such as caring for small children, and if the time mismatch with the rest of society becomes a habit, it ends up demotivating the professional and affecting their performance.
