The Labor and Social Security Inspectorate has already reported the first results related to the mandatory registration of working hours, and the data point to a significant increase in violations and cases related to this matter.

12/23/2019

It seems that between May, when the new regulations came into force that require the recording of working hours for all company staff, and October 2019, the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate has completed 3.9% more cases than in the previous semester (November 2018 to April 2019), which represents a figure of 5,363 cases related to the recording of working hours and working time.

According to this same entity, it has been found that there have been a total of 980 violations, 9.8% more in the previous 6 months, and specifically 18.3% of these violations of the inspected companies correspond to the control of working time.

It should be noted that this data only corresponds to the inspected companies, for this reason and for 2020 the State Labor and Social Security Inspection Agency plans to launch, jointly and in coordination with the Autonomous Communities, a specific campaign on the control of the working day registration.

To fully comply with the new regulations and avoid possible violations, we recommend Timenet, our working day registration and project management system, an online application that makes available to any company an immediate installation system, and easy to manage, that allows to register all the working hours of the company's staff.

With a minimal investment, and without having to install any software, you only need to have a device with an internet connection, you can comply with the regulations and also manage work by projects, and organize the time dedicated to tasks or services, work calendars, staff holidays, etc.
