This regulation has been established because it has been detected that many companies work a lot of overtime that is neither paid nor paid, and this represents a great loss of money for the public social security system, and also a decrease in the supply of jobs. Behind this law there is also the intention to help reconcile work and family life, a pending issue for today's society.
Until now, it was only mandatory to register the working hours of part-time workers, but the Decree Law issued this March establishes very clearly that from May 2019 it will be necessary to have a record of the working hours of all workers in the organization, and keep it for 4 years.
Faced with this new regulation, it is necessary to look for effective solutions that allow this time control system to be implemented in an agile and simple way, and easily register the working hours and possible absenteeism of the company staff.
