Increase of up to 20% in penalties for violations in Teleworking

At the end of last May, the Congress of Deputies approved, as part of the processing of the new Remote Work Law, the increase of up to 20% in the penalties for violations in Teleworking, which are imposed by the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate, and which can reach fines of almost 1 million euros.

Currently, the highest fine for this type of infraction could reach €819,780, and with this 20% increase it could become €983,736.

It seems that these modifications to the new Telework Law will also include some technical aspects, and amendments such as the one that proposes that the reference address appear in the employment contract, or if not that of the company, or physical place of work, so that a competent labor authority can be considered, and also the applicable public services and programs to promote employment.

This new Law will also include 4 amendments that aim to regulate remote work by people with disabilities, thus ensuring that the means, equipment and work tools are universally accessible to avoid their exclusion, and also that this accessibility is part of the risk assessment and planning of preventive activity.

It really seems that teleworking is here to stay in many business models, for this reason it is important to have tools, such as Timenet, that allow you to manage time, projects, and customer service from anywhere, both from the office and while teleworking.

Our Timenet system is an online application, very easy to install, since it does not require any software, and also to use, since you only need a device with an internet connection, and from there you can start managing the modules that each company needs to be able to properly implement teleworking in its structure.
